The creation of new combat formations, first of all, the forces of special forces (commando), is one of the important factors in increasing the combat effectiveness of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces. This was said by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the ceremony of presenting the Battle Banner of one of the military units of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
