After the meeting was completed, one on one presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan and a press conference with the participation of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev was held as part of the delegations.
President Aliyev thanked the head of the Turkish state for a warm appointment. He expressed satisfaction of the development of economic ties between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The President of Azerbaijan said that Türkiye today has a special vote in the world. According to him, the unity of Turkey and Azerbaijan is an important factor not only for the region, but for the whole of Eurasia.
“The unification of the Turkic world, the unity of peoples with a common culture will give the power of each member of the organization of the Turkic states,” he said.
President Aliyev emphasized that the head of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will take part in the next summit of the organization of Turkic states:
“President TRSK, in my opinion, will also take part in the summit, which will be held in Shusha. This will give the impulse the unity of the Turkic peoples,” Aliyev said.
