Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the visit of the President of Egypt Abdel Fattaha al-Sisi, who will be a very important step for the development of Egyptian-Azerbaijani connections. This was said by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with President Egypt in an expanded composition.
“Just at our meeting, we discussed many issues alone. We have no discrepancies in the opinion of the further development of Egyptian-Azerbaijani connections. There are excellent opportunities for cooperation in many areas. I am convinced that after the visit we will realize the agreements reached” , said the head of the Azerbaijani state.
Ilham Aliyev noted that the day before, the President of Egypt with Azerbaijani businessmen took place. The meeting gave very good results, the head of state noted.
“Of course, the joint work of business circles will further strengthen our relationship. We also outlined areas of further cooperation. I am sure that in the near future they will become possible both mutual investment and an increase in trade turnover,” the president said.
The head of state also noted that Azerbaijan and Egypt will strengthen joint activities in international organizations and deepen cooperation. Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the President of Egypt to Azerbaijan will make a huge contribution to the further successful development of the two countries.
