Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the first Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the mosque of Yuhara Gevhar Aga in Shusha, where they got acquainted with the reconstruction and restoration work carried out by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Presidential Assistant Anar Alekperov noted that restoration work in the historical mosque of Yuhara Gevhar Aga began in November 2021. To date, the mosque has been carried out to strengthen. The consequences of the intervention of the Armenians during the period of the object under the occupation were also eliminated.
Restoration work is planned to be completed by the end of 2023.
