In the Investigation Department of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Azerbaijan, an investigation is conducted on the basis of the materials received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources due to the illegal cutting of trees in Baku. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to information, the staff of the prosecutor’s office and the regional management of the Ministry of Extraction and natural resources examined the indicated territory and took the testimony from a number of persons. It was found that cypresses and pines were illegally cut down on the specified territory.
“In the Prosecutor General’s Office continues the investigation, the public will be informed additionally about the results,” the message is noted.
