The import of 200 cubic meters of timber from the Komi territory to Azerbaijan is prevented.
According to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation (Rosselkhoznadzor), this was done due to the identification of quarantine objects (barbeling of the genus Monochamus) in prepared for sending two parties. This indicates a violation of the rules for the fight against quarantine objects in a phytosanitary quarantine zone.
Due to the inconsistency of products, the requirements were denied the issuance of phytosanitary certificates.
Organizations issued instructions in accordance with which measures were taken to disinfect infected products.
