Armenian authorities conduct searches in the ARF Party “Dashnaktsutyun” in the Armavir region of the country, two party members were arrested, one of the leaders of the opposition “resistance movement” Ishkhan Sagatelan.

Armenian media reports that two members of Dashnaktsutyun Aleksan Aleksanyan and Aramais Mkhitaryan were arrested under Article 163 of the Criminal Code of Armenia (obstructing the conduct of legal meetings, rallies, processions, demonstrations or participation in them or coercion to participate in them, as well as in illegal collections, rallies, processions or demonstrations committed using violence or with the threat of its use).
Dashnak deputy Arzvik Minasyan said that in the morning, representatives of law enforcement agencies conduct mass searches in the apartments of dozens of citizens: “In the offices of our party in the cities of Armavir, Echmiadzin and Bagramyan Armavir region, searches and confiscation were carried out”.
