In Azerbaijan, the international bicycle race “Darling Shusha”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, was completed.
The winner of the last, fifth stage of the tournament, which ended in the historical city of Shusha, was the Italian bike lover Emanuel Ansaloni. The second to the finish line came the Romanian cyclist Christian Rylyan, his first three leaders were closed by his Adi-Narcissus Markch team.
Ansaloni became the winner of the tournament and the owner of the yellow T -shirt.
In the team standings, the winner of the tournament was the Italian club Team Technipes.
International bike race “Dear Shusha” started on June 7 in Baku.
In the tournament for medals, more than 100 athletes fought for 18 teams from 16 countries. The five -stage competition of category 2.2 is included in the calendar plan of the International Cypendist Union (UCI) for 2023.
According to the results of a prestigious competition, cyclists will be able to earn licensed points for the Paris – 2024 Olympic Games.
