In Belarus, subscribers of telegram channels announced by “extremist” will be judged, reports the telegram channel of the Belarusian General Administration to combat organized crime.
The Government adopted this resolution on October 12. The maximum punishment on the relevant article is seven years of imprisonment.
We note that more than 100 telegrams of channels are recognized in Belarus “extremist”, the overwhelming majority of them have political topics.
The largest of the “extremist” telegrams recognized by the “extremist” channels – NEXTA Live – has 989 thousand subscribers.
