In Capital Of Azerbaijan, IX International Congress “Baku Days Of Heart” Began Work

In the capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Baku on Saturday, May 17, the IX International Congress “Baku Days of the Heart” began to work, dedicated to the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

According to the Azerbaijani State Media, the event was organized at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and is held in the Gulistan Palace.

The main goal of the Congress is to make a contribution to the development of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery in Azerbaijan, to exchange views with foreign colleagues, discussing the innovations in this area of ​​medical science.

About 400 local and foreign cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from more than 20 countries take part in the Congress.

The events will discuss the most pressing issues related to cardiovascular diseases and methods of their treatment.

On Saturday and Sunday, a 21 scientific session with the participation of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons will be held within the framework of the Congress, during which the latest scientific achievements in this field of healthcare will be discussed.

It is also provided for in the framework of the event that joint meetings with the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, the European Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and the Azerbaijani Society of Resuscients and Anesthesiologists are provided.

During the Congress, on the initiative of the Azerbaijani Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, a summit of the combination of cardiovascular surgery of the Turkic world, established last year in Turkey.

IX International Congress “Baku Heart Days” is recognized as the Ministry of Health with an event of continuous medical education, and the Congress participants will receive 20 points DTT.
