In eight cities of Kazakhstan, high level of air pollution was noted

Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Temirtau, Atyrau, Aktobe, Balkhash and Ust-Kamenogorsk were included in the list of cities of Kazakhstan with the most polluted air. This was reported at a press conference in Astana by the acting Chairman of the Committee of Environmental Regulation and Control of the Ministry of Ecology of Kazakhstan Aidar Abdualiev.

Air Abdualiev divided the reasons for atmospheric air pollution in these eight settlements. “In Astana and Almaty, the main percentage of pollution falls on heat sources, thermal power plants and boiler houses, vehicles and private sector. In the cities of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Temirtau, the largest amount of emissions falls on industry.
