The use of Russia’s military force against Ukraine will put an end to the implementation of the North Stream-2 gas pipeline project, the head of the largest faction of the European Parliament – the European People’s Party of Manfred Weber.
“When Putin starts the weapon, then it will be the end of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline,” His newspaper “Handelsblatt” leads him.
Weber, a member of the Bavarian Party of the Christian-Social Union, stressed that in the case of armed conflict, the commissioning of the gas pipeline should be completely excluded, and the future government of the Federal Republic of Germany should clearly designate it, transfers Interfax.
