In European Union, date of full refusal from Russian gas

The European Union is going to abandon gas supplies from Russia by 2027, said in an interview to the Austrian publication OE24 Minister for climate protection, ecology, energy, transport, innovation and technologies of Austria Leonor Geversler.

According to her, “the European Commission formulated the goal for all 27 EU countries for 2027,” and “This is a very ambitious goal” on the abandonment of Russian gas, TASS reports.

At the same time, Gevessler clarified that while Austria depends on blue fuel from the Russian Federation by 80%.
