In the Hyubeklitepa, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and known as the “zero point of history”, there is a high tourist flow. This archaeological monument in the province of Shanlyurf stores the most important artifacts of the Neolithic era, including the famous T-shaped stone steles with images of wild animals and the remnants of ancient temples.
Numerous guests who arrived in the region from different cities of Turkey got the opportunity to see the ancient structures personally and take pictures against the background of the monument. Visitors also provided information on the structure of the monument and the importance of surviving artifacts.
One of the guests of Ali Saz told Anadolu that he was visiting this place for the first time. “A very beautiful place, we are delighted. I would like everyone to see Göbeklitepe,” he said.
Schoolgirl Elif Yildyrym from Ankara noted that she came to Shanlyurf as part of the excursion and remained under the great impression of what she saw.
