In the Indian state of Rajasthan, a fire in a passenger bus is believed to have killed 19 people.
As reported by NDTV, police reported that a bus traveling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan caught fire.
According to authorities, the bus carrying 57 passengers were quickly engulfed in flames, as a result of which, according to preliminary estimates, 19 people died.
In addition, authorities reported that the cause of the fire was presumably a short circuit. It is also clarified that 15 people, including women and children, were seriously injured.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a message published on the social network of the American company X, wished a speedy recovery to the victims.
