Eight police officers and military personnel of the National Guard died as a result of the riots in different parts of Kazakhstan, 317 were injured, the local Tengrinews.kz portal reports with reference to the data of the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, they stated that the acts of vandalism and looting were organized by provocateurs, urge not to succumb to provocations.
