The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, together with the Secretariat of the Meeting of the Interaction and Measures of Trust in Asia (SVMDA), held a seminar on the development of the military-political measurement of the organization.

According to the agency, representatives of the military departments of the SBMDA countries, as well as a representative of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, took part in the event.
The seminar discussed issues of strengthening mutual cooperation aimed at ensuring peace, stability and security in Asia.
“Presentations were also presented regarding the implementation of confidence measures in the military -political measurement of the meeting on the interaction and confidence measures in Asia, the experience of the SBMDA member states in the conduct and participation in peacekeeping missions, their cooperation in this direction. In addition, in In accordance with the program, the participants in the seminar were visited by the enterprises of the military -industrial complex of Kazakhstan and one of the military facilities of the Ministry of Defense, ”the department added.
Svmda was created on the initiative of Kazakhstan in 1992. The forum is aimed at forming conditions for dialogue, making decisions and implementing measures in the field of security in Asia.
