In Kazakhstan, they discussed actions of Russia in relation to Kazakhstani oil

The Government of Kazakhstan held a meeting in connection with the actions of Russia in relation to the Caspian pipeline consortium (KTK), KazTAG reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister.

on Wednesday, July 6, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov held an operational meeting on the situation related to the suspension of the activities of the KTK. During the meeting, the necessary measures were discussed to minimize the negative consequences and losses of the state budget in connection with the restrictions on the export of Kazakhstani oil . According to the results of the discussion, the head of government has been given a number of relevant instructions, ”the statement said.

Previously suspended the activities of KTK-R for documentary violations under the plan for the elimination of emergency oil spills for 30 days was ruled by the Primorsky District Court of Novorossiysk. KTK pipeline is the main export route of Kazakhstani oil. The oil pipeline connects Kazakhstani deposits with the Russian port of Novorossiysk, from where black gold on tankers goes through the Black Sea to Europe.
