The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) this year has opened 45 criminal cases relating to the preparation for the state coup. This was announced by the head of the Cyber Security Department of the SBU Ilya Vityuk, reports TASS.
Since the beginning of 2021, only 45 products on the article on the preparation for the seizure of state power were discussed only on materials on the preparation for the seizure of state power, 34 prosecutions were submitted, about 30 sentences of the court, “said Vityuk.
At the same time, according to the head of the SBU, the main threat comes from Russia. Wityuk noted that the SBU is constantly working on the identification of Russian agents in the Ukrainian authorities. “For the first nine months of this year, the Russian influence agents were revealed more than 50. But in terms of operational and counterintelligence, it is impractical to indicate some bodies where spies can be,” he said.
