In Ministry of Health, rumors about lack of drugs for sick children were refuted

The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan commented on information about supposedly problems in the supply of medicines for children suffering from cystic fibrosis, reports haqqin.az.

“Public Association” assistance to sick cystic fibrosis ”appealed to the Ministry of Health regarding the provision of children’s children suffering from this disease.

Given this, the ministry turned to the head of state. According to the relevant order of the president, funds were allocated from the state budget to eliminate the problem.

According to order No. 97 of the Ministry of Health dated November 19, 2021 “On providing drugs for children with cystic fibrosis”, the necessary drugs for patients were purchased by the Center for Innovation and Supply of the Ministry of Health through a tender and transferred to the Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 6 under scientific research Institute of Pediatrics. Currently, the problem has been solved, and children suffering from cystic fibrosis are issued, ”the ministry said in a statement.
