In New York on Saturday, 41st traditional Turkish march will be held

The Turkish flag is raised for the 24th time at the ceremony held in the world-famous financial center of New York Wall Street.

The Federation of Turkish-American associations organized the ceremony “The 41st traditional New York Turkish march and the festival of the flag raising” in the Bowling Green Park, where the famous statue of the bull is located in the Wall Street.

The Ceremony was attended by Turkish Ambassador to Washington Sedat ONAL, a regular representative of Turkey at the United Nations (UN) ambassador Akhmet Yildiz, the Consul General of Turkey in New York Reyhan Ozgur, TADF President Gulai Aydemir, Communications Advisor Gulf Gyul Kyratly , representatives of diplomatic missions, representatives of Turkish schools, associations and non -governmental organizations, as well as many citizens of Turkey.

41st march in honor of Turkey’s Day will be held on Saturday May 18. The march will begin in the morning on the corner of Madison Avenue and the 38th street in New York and will end in the Madison-Square Park. In the framework of the march in honor of Turkey Day, the Mekhter Orchestra of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will perform Ottoman-Turkish music on the march route. Within the framework of the program, concerts of artists and various shows will be held.
