The sixth stage of the 60th Presidential Cycle of Turkey (TUR – 2025) took place along the Selchuk (Isabei) route – Selchuk (House of the Virgin) in the province of Izmir.
Starting sixth stage TUR – 2025, the only PROSERIES category race in the country, which was included in the official calendar of the European Toures of the International Cyclists Union (UCI), was given in the Selchuk area. The race was attended by 144 athletes from 23 teams
Start the sixth stage of the bicycle race was given by the governor of the village of Selchuk Oguz Alp Chaglar and the President of the Bicycle Sports Federation of Turkey Emin Muftyuoglu.
The fifth stage of the cycling race on the Marmaris-Aydin route was canceled shortly after the start due to adverse weather conditions.
Leaders’ shirts according to the results of past competitions were assigned as follows: turquoise – Dutchman Vaut Eleas from the Alpecin -Deceuninck team, Red – Ahmet orken or South African Willem Jacobus Smith, green – Italian Giovanni Lonardi from Polti Visitmalta.
And the sixth stage of the cycling race will have to overcome 156 km. Bicycles finish in the area of the Virgin House in the Selchuk area.
The Turkish presidential cycling will end on Sunday, May 4, in the province of Izmir.
