“for each person who was captured, let’s say, a special card is drawn up, written by them handwritten, so that it was possible to make sure that he was alive and it was he who wrote this card, and is passed to the Red Cross (…) Today, more than 500 such cards are filled from our side and transferred to the Red Cross. These are Ukrainian prisoners, (…) which we are ready to exchange, “Moskalkova said.
According to her, interaction with the international red cross passes through the Russian department of the organization. At the same time, the main body for solving issues related to prisoners of war is the Russian Ministry of Defense.
