In Saudi Arabia, for first time, an Israeli plane landed

In the capital airport of Saudi Arabia “King Khalid” in Er-Riyadh landed a private Israeli jet plane. This is the first case in history when Saudi Arabia takes an Israeli aircraft, transmit Israeli media.

It is reported that the landing of the Israeli aircraft occurred only after a day after the airport “Ben-Gurion” landed the Royal Jet from Er-Riyadh Boeing-737 airlines, which belongs to the UAE.

Since there are no commercial flights between Israel and Saudi Arabia, due to the lack of diplomatic relations, the landing of the Israeli aircraft is an important milestone in the relationship between the two countries. This events are already considered another “bonus” from Avraam’s agreements that Israel concluded with moderate Arab regimes.

Recall, back in September 2020, Saudi Arabia opened its airspace for Israeli aircraft. Before that, on the way to Southeast Asia, they were forced to follow a long, winding route bypassing the Arabian Peninsula, which added 2 hours to the time of the journey and made Israeli airlines were non-competitive in the Asian direction.
