In southeast of Ukraine, exercises begin in case of an accident at ZAES

In the city of Zaporozhye and the Zaporizhzhya district of Ukraine, on June 29, special exercises will start in case of emergency at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant controlled by the Russian army. This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration Yuri Malashko in Telegram.

“Command and staff exercises begin with the governing bodies and civil protection forces of the Zaporizhzhya region,” the report said.

Malashko noted that due to events, temporary restrictions on movement in certain areas are possible.

In ova, it was clarified that the purpose of special exercises is to coordinate the actions of all services in the event of a real threat of emergency at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
