India Announced Their Readiness To Attack Pakistan Under New Provocation

India is ready to resume a military operation against Pakistan in the case of a new “terrorist attack”. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India to Sumramani Jayshankar in an interview with the news portal Politico.

The minister emphasized that the reasons for past clashes remain relevant, accusing Pakistan of “preparing thousands of terrorists” and their “direction to the territory of India.”

”India is ready to strike at terrorist organizations and their leaders if a provocation in the form of a terrorist attack is committed,” said Jayshankar.

According to him, India will not specifically look for goals for a blow, but if they are discovered in Pakistan, “will enter Pakistan.”

Jayshankar also denied reports of destroyed Indian aircraft during recent clashes between the two countries.

On May 6, India inflicted missile strikes on the territory of Pakistan, including the Azad Kashmir region under the control of Islamabad. These actions were a response to a terrorist attack, committed on April 22 in the Pakhalgam region in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, as a result of which 26 people were killed.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers called the operation of Pakistan “Operation Sindur”. “Sindur” translated from Hindi is a red powder that married women in India traditionally apply on the forehead.

May 10, with the mediation of the United States, India and Pakistan reached an agreement on the ceasefire.
