India claims that its citizens lured Russia into army, promising work

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India claims that its citizens are lured into the army of Russia, promising work.

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Randhir Jayswal called on his compatriots not to be “fooled” intermediaries, offering “auxiliary work” in the Russian army.

The diplomat said that they are negotiating with the Moscow Administration on the return of their citizens, who were lured to Russia with a promise of work.

On Thursday, the Central Bureau of Investigations of India (CBR) announced that at least 35 Indian citizens were taken to Russia through agents.

CBR indicated that they went through combat training and were sent to the Russian-Ukrainian war against their will.

The Embassy of India in Moscow confirmed the death of one Indian citizen who fought on the side of Russia.

On the other hand, Nepal also shared information about the death of 14 of his citizens who had been preparing to participate in the hostilities against Ukraine, and demanded from the Russian authorities to free hundreds of their citizens who have undergone training to participate in the fighting.
