India introduced a ban on imports and transit of goods from Pakistan to further notification. This was reported by the Indian NDTV television channel with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Trade of India.
“direct or indirect imports or transit of all goods coming from Pakistan or exported from it, is prohibited to further orders,” follows from the message.
The Ministry of Trade noted that the ban will enter into force immediately, and the decision was made for reasons of “national security and state policy.”
The New -Delhi administration also announced the termination of the reception of mail and goods coming from Pakistan by air and land, and also forbade the courts under the Pakistani flag to go to Indian ports, and the vessels under the Indian flag – to the Pakistani ports.

Terrorist attack in Pakhalgam

Pakistan authorities said that any attempts by India to stop or change the direction of river flow in the Indus basin will be regarded as an act of war. The country also suspended all the trade with India and closed its airspace.
