India redesigned in recent months in addition to at least 50 thousand servicemen to the border with China to strengthen their positions in this region, reports the MINT newspaper with reference to sources.
According to the publication, the Ministry of Defense transferred the troops and the air force divisions in three border areas. In general, about 200 thousand Indian servicemen are currently focused on the border with China, which, according to the information sources of the newspaper, is 40% more compared to last year.
Sources of publication also reported that the PRC also recently sent additional forces at the disposal of the Xinjiang military command, which is responsible for patrolling the controversial areas on the border with India in the foothills of Himalayas.
