India decided to be from the production of KA-226T helicopters on its territory, instead, it is planned to purchase already ready-made helicopters of this type, betrays Bloomberg with reference to high-ranking sources in the Indian government.

In 2015, Russia and India signed an intergovernmental agreement on the supply of Russia of the Indian side of the light helicopters KA-226T and localization on its territory of production of such machines.
