Police officers detained two people infected with coronavirus in public places in Baku. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, residents of Baku – 59-year-old K. Akhundova and 32-year-old I. Guliyev, who were prescribed treatment at home, having violated self-isolation, left their places of residence.
Police officers conducted explanatory talks with the detainees and returned them home, and also informed the relevant health authorities.
A criminal case has been initiated against K. Akhundova under Article 139-1.1 (violation of anti-epidemic and quarantine regimes) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. The investigation into another citizen is ongoing.
