Institute for Study of War: Ukrainians hit positions of Russians near Kherson

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to strike the Russian rear support units and key positions throughout the Kherson region in support of the ongoing counterattack in the south of the country. This is stated in the report of the American Institute for the Study of War on Friday, September 2.

“Russian bloggers again confirmed the statements that Ukrainian forces are conducting fighting in four directions of offensive in the west of the Kherson region,” American experts report.

The Institute writes that from August 29, the Armed Forces of Ukraine aimed at ponto crossings in order to tactically undermine Russian forces and support the ongoing Ukrainian offensive operations.

In addition, it is reported that on September 1, Russian troops struck ground attacks northwest of Slavyansk, south and north-east of Bakhmut, as well as northwest and southwest of Donetsk.
