Russian troops have lost about 130 aircraft since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Ukraine, writes the British Ministry of Defense in its daily review in Ukraine.
According to British intelligence, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as of February 2023, have about 1,500 military aircraft with crews.
Authors of the summary note that Russian aviation still demonstrates low efficiency and acts mainly on the seized territories. In the heaven of military aviation of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian air defense successfully resists, and on Earth, due to the threat of explosions at Russian airfields, the command was forced to disperse the aircraft.
In such conditions, they believe in the military department of Great Britain, the Russian command will not expand the use of aviation, as this will lead to unacceptable losses.
