Intelligence of Ukraine: Russia is changing tactics in war

Russia changed the tactics of its offensive and no longer goes in columns without cover and air defense, as it did in February last year, said Vadim Skibitsky, deputy chief of Ukrainian intelligence.

“The more we are fighting, the more they draw conclusions. They are now building a more clear control system along the entire front line, we see it. They change the tactics of using their units. If a year ago these were BTGR, battalion tactical groups, then, then battalion tactical groups, then Now they have returned to the classical scheme – a brigade, a regiment, a battalion, ”said Skibitsky by the Ukrainian media.

According to him, now the Russian Federation creates assault detachments of 140-160 people. “Such detachments include mechanized units, tanks, artillery, mortars, anti -tank weapons – to break through in separate areas precisely thanks to assault actions,” said the representative of the Gur.
