XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic world: KazanForum 2023” began its work in the capital of Tatarstan.

“Russia – Islamic world: Kazanforum” – this is the main platform for the economic interaction of the Russian Federation and the countries participating in the organization of Islamic cooperation (OII).
The purpose of the forum is to strengthen the trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties of Russia and the OIS countries. Among the other tasks of the forum: the expansion of Islamic financing and the halal industry, the discovery of new markets and economic capabilities.
The forum, which takes place this year for the fourteenth time, gathered representatives of international organizations, state and financial structures, employees of diplomatic agents, politicians, investors and business people.
The organizers announced more than 7 thousand participants from dozens of countries of the world.
The forum will be about 200 discussions, including 140 thematic meetings.
On the first day of the forum, discussions are held on topics such as: “Islamic financing – the basics of Islamic banking and finance”; “Russia-Islamic world: media-producing for sustainable development and economic prosperity”; “Certificate of Halal products and international experience”; “The use of artificial intelligence in business life”; “Scientific and technical cooperation for the effective use of resources”.
The forum will take place “Modest Fashion Day”.
The event will last until May 20.
Last year, the forum was visited by more than 6 thousand people from 64 countries of the world.
