International Gas Forum started in St. Petersburg

The Thirteenth International Gas Forum (PMGF-2023) began work in St. Petersburg on October 31. One of the key world events of the gas industry will be held at the Expoforum site.

As part of the forum, Russian and international companies related to the oil and gas sector will show their developments and about 80 events of various formats in 19 thematic areas will be held: conferences, meetings, round tables.

Particular attention at the event will be paid to import substitution and ensuring technological leadership in the gas industry, the search for new growth points for the formation of effective technological cooperations, international cooperation, as well as new projects in the field of LNG. The main event of the event will be the plenary session “Transformation of the global natural gas market: challenges and development paths”, which is scheduled for November 1.

The forum was confirmed by more than 500 companies, among them – Gazprom, the Antey -Antei VKO concern, Rosatom Group of Companies, Rosatelcom and others.

In addition, in the framework of the forum exhibition program, the stands of companies from the People’s Republic of China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Italy and the Republic of Belarus.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Ministry of Energy and the Government of St. Petersburg.

The forum will complete its work on November 3.
