High turnout in the presidential and parliamentary elections of the 28th convocation in Turkey – an indicator of “Victory of Democracy”.
This was stated by the press secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Iran Nasher Kenani, commenting on the elections in Turkey on Sunday.
“The high turnout of the inhabitants of the Turkish Republic and the successful holding of elections are evidence of the victory of democracy in a neighboring Muslim country. We congratulate the people of Turkey, election organizers, leaders and political parties on this victory and we wish them good luck,” the Kenani’s written statement said.
In Turkey on May 14, elections of the President and Deputies of the Turkish Parliament of the 28th convocation were held.
