Iran Answered Statement Of US Secretary Of State Marco Rubio

Deputy Head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Behruz Kamalwangdi, said that the statement of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio that if Iran insisted on enriching Uranus, he will become the only country in the world that does not have a program of nuclear weapons, but engaged in the enrichment of Uranus, does not correspond to reality.

According to the official Iranian IRNA news agency, Kamalwangi reacted to Rubio’s statement about the Uranus enrichment program in Iran.

Speaking of a statement by the US Secretary of State that “Iran is the only country that does not have nuclear weapons but enriches it,” the official noted that this issue is not accidentally bothering the US State Department, but Rubio made such a statement without studying it.

Kemalvendi in particular said: “There are countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Germany, which do not have nuclear weapons, but enrich it, so it should be said that Iran is not the only country that enriches and does not have nuclear weapons at the same time.”

Iranian official said that American officials should study the topic and speak carefully when they make such statements.

April 24, Rubio said that if Iran insisted on enriching Uranus, then it will become the only country in the world that does not have a program for creating nuclear weapons, but is engaged in the enrichment of Uranus, which is a “problematic” situation.

noting that Iran can have a civil nuclear program if he agrees to refuse uranium enrichment, Rubio said: “If Iran wants to have a civil nuclear program, he can do this, importing the enriched material, as many countries do.”
