The Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Ksir) began the exercises on the border with Azerbaijan, Iranian media reported.
The exercises are held under the slogan “Strong Iran.”
The purpose of the exercises declared by Tehran is to increase the military power of the troops. According to the commander of the ground forces, KSIR Mohammad Pakpur, “the message of these teachings for neighboring countries is peace, friendship and strengthening stable security”, and for Iran’s enemies, “the fact that Xirir is ready to protect the country’s boundaries and resolutely resist any threats.”
