Iran continued to enrich uranium after accident in Natanz

The enrichment of uranium at the facility in Natanze after the day before the sabotage continues, the head of the nuclear energy organization and Vice-President of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi reported.

According to him, the incident did not create interference with uranium enrichment, since emergency power supply was involved.

Salehi noted that the enrichment on a nuclear facility continues, for several days, damaged centrifuges will be replaced with more powerful, due to which in the “shortest dates” on a nuclear facility in Natanz may be the enrichment of uranium to a level of 50%, RIA Novosti reports With reference to IRIB.
