Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ire Said Khatibzade denied reports of direct contact with the United States in recent months as part of negotiations on the cancellation of sanctions in Vienna.

“We did not spend direct negotiations with the United States in recent months. Deputy Head of the EU on Foreign Policy Enrique Mora gave us some written and oral reports on the negotiations in Vienna, for which we urgently answered,” he noted, commenting on the approval of the adviser on US National Security on Direct Negotiations with Iran.

According to Khatibzade, today it turned out two documents based on the results of recent negotiations in Vienna. He added that Iran’s views on previous texts were included in the new documents, and now there are texts that are the basis for future discussions.
