Iran Does Not Exclude Diplomatic Decision Of Disagreement With United States

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi reported preserved disagreements with the United States on the issue of enriching uranium, but emphasized that the diplomatic window can still be open and the parties can come to an agreement.

In an interview with Alban television channel Al Manar, Arakchi noted that negotiations between Washington and Tehran are conducted in the atmosphere of “mutual respect” and in the presence of “serious will to achieve an agreement.”

He confirmed that the enrichment of Uranus remains a key and fundamental point of disagreement. At the same time, the Iranian side insists on preserving its peaceful nuclear program. “Enrichment is necessary for us to satisfy medical and industrial needs. Radioactive isotopes produced in the country annually help more than a million patients. Some of our scientists have given our lives for this. We will never refuse this,” the Minister emphasized.

.

Commenting on the recent US -nuclear transaction proposal, Arakchi said: “It is studied, and Iran will provide an answer at the right time in accordance with national interests.”

According to him, despite the difficulties, “the diplomatic window is still open, and there is a real opportunity to find a solution by negotiations.”

, in the framework of the negotiation process, which takes place through the mediation of the Oman, the United States requires Iran to completely abandon the enrichment of uranium at any level. Earlier, Washington announced his readiness to come to terms with low -level enrichment, but now he occupies a more stringent position.

Iran, in turn, insists on the right to maintain a nuclear program, provided that it will not lead to the creation of atomic weapons. In return Tehran requires the abolition of international sanctions.

The parties have already held five rounds of negotiations, the next is not yet planned. The United States sent an official proposal to Iran, providing for a complete refusal to enrich Uranus, but Tehran refused to accept it and prepares its own answer.
