Iran: Europeans were detained for participating in protests

In Iran, nine citizens of European countries participating in protests after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini

were detained in Iran.

Deutsche Welle, citing the Iranian Intelligence Ministry, reports that the detained Europeans, whose personalities are not established, are citizens of Germany, Poland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and other countries.

According to human rights groups, dozens of activists, students, journalists were also detained. Amnesty International claim that the Iranian authorities killed at least 52 people during the suppression of protests, hundreds of demonstrators were injured.

Mahsa Amini came to her relatives in Tehran and on September 13 was detained by the police police, who accused her of wearing “non -and -hay” clothes. The girl was taken to the police, later she was taken to the hospital in a coma, where she died a few days later. The police claim that Amini had a heart attack. However, relatives said that she had no heart problems. Human rights activists believe that the girl was inflicted on the head on the head.
