Iran opens land border with Azerbaijan

Iran again opens the land borders with neighboring countries, including Azerbaijan. As APA reports, the Minister of Internal Affairs Iran Ahmed Vahidy reported.

A. Vakhidi noted that the borders that were closed 15 days ago due to the Omicron strain of coronavirus, open again, and citizens of neighboring countries can visit Iran by the land.

According to him, to visit Iran, you should pass a PCR test.

a. Vahidi stressed that for those countries in which the epidemiological situation is taken under control was also a passenger air communication. However, from some European countries, including the United Kingdom and France, flights to Iran are prohibited.

Note that Iran closed the borders from December 25, 2021 due to the distribution of Omicron-strain coronavirus.
