Yerevan and Tehran consider the formation of a trilateral platform of Iran – Armenia – India, said Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who is in Armenia on a visit.
According to the Iranian minister, the corridor of the Persian Gulf – the Black Sea is one of the main directions of dialogue between Armenia and Iran, and this issue was discussed in detail in negotiations with the Foreign Minister Armenia Armen Mirzoyan.
“taking into account the important role of India in this matter, we were united in the opinion that we need to form a trilateral platform in order to implement our plans for this path. So that we work more efficiently on the creation of this corridor,” he said.
Mirzoyan added that Armenia is interested in creating this transport corridor.
