Iran President arrived in Cuba

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived at Cuba as part of the countries of Latin America.

At the Jose Marty International Airport, near Havana, a high -ranking guest was met by the Foreign Minister of Cuba Bruno Rodriguez.

The head of Cuban diplomacy wrote on Twitter that the president of Iran was warmly met.

The minister recalled that Iran and Cuba celebrate the 44th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The visit of Raisi to Havana will help strengthen bilateral relations and partnerships between countries, said the Foreign Minister.

Iranian President on Thursday, June 15 will take part in the Working Forum on the Revolution Square in the capital.

Between the two countries there are bilateral agreements regarding the supply of biotechnology products, nanotechnology, pharmaceutical industry and food security.

Previously, Raisi visited Venezuela and Nicaragua earlier. A visit to Cuba President of the Islamic Republic completed a tour of Latin America.
