Tehran will soon introduce response from the new sanctions of the European Union, said the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanani.
“In response to … The steps of the Council of the EU Foreign Ministry of the European Union will soon be announced and introduced response against the relevant European individuals and legal entities,” Kanani said, whose words are given in the telegram channel of the Iranian department.
The representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry also called European sanctions a violation of international law, interference in the internal affairs of Iran and an instrument to achieve its political goals. Foreign Minister Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian called the sanctions imposed by the European Union by an “non -constructive act” based on false information.
EU plans have previously been reported to impose sanctions against Iran due to suppression of protests. In particular, the police of the Islamic Republic, as well as 11 individuals, fell under the restrictions.
