Iran refused to stop uranium enrichment

Iran will not stop 20 percent uranium enrichment before the US sanctions are withdrawn, reports Press TV with reference to a high-ranking Iranian official.

“20 percent uranium enrichment corresponds to the 36th CHPD paragraph and will be stopped only if the United States cancels all sanctions,” he said. According to him, Iran will not cease its current nuclear activity before the removal of all sanctions. “The administration of Byyden loses time, and if in the near future it will not be able to remove the sanctions, Iran will take the following steps, which will continue to reduce their obligations under UNDPD,” the official added.

Previously, Politico published an article in which the United States will try to get out of a dead end around the nuclear transaction 2015 through a new proposal for the start of negotiations this week.
