Iran: Reports Of Disappearance Of Three Citizens Of India Are Investigated

The Iranian authorities announced the beginning of the investigation on the fact of the disappearance of three citizens of India who arrived in the country.

According to ISNA, Iran’s embassy in New Delhi made an official statement that emphasized that the incident is under the control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the judicial authorities of the country. It is also noted that the Embassy of India in Tehran was informed about the situation.

At the Indian Embassy in Tehran, they called on India citizens to be careful. “Given the nature of the incident, it is strongly recommended not to trust illegal intermediaries and agencies promising trips to other countries,” follows from the statement.

On the eve of the Embassy of India in Tehran reported on the social network X that the relatives of the three Indian citizens turned to the diplomatic mission with a statement about their disappearance after a trip to Iran.

The message emphasizes that the information about the missing was immediately transferred to the Iranian authorities, and an official request was also sent to ensure their search and guarantee security.
