Iran: Schools And Government Agencies Closed Because Of Sandstone

In several cities of Iran, due to pollution of air caused by a sandstone, classes in schools are suspended. According to the IRNA State Agency, the regional centers for the management of crises and emergency committees decided to temporarily close educational institutions.

The storm seized the western regions of the country. In the provinces of West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan and Zenjan, as well as in East Azerbaijan, classes in schools were canceled. The work of all government agencies and banks was temporarily suspended in Tabriz.

According to the Iranian weather service, in the coming hours, a sandstone can spread to the province of Alborz and the capital of Tehran.
